I have a question about the timing of the Sherlock movie. In the dataset description, it says the fMRI data were cropped to be aligned with the start of the movie. The movie file in the stimulus folder contains an approx. 30-second cartoon video and a short opening credits sequence (the countdown from 3 to 0) before the actual movie starts. Was the viewing data cropped to align it with the start of the actual movie, the countdown sequence, or the cartoon? In my research, I want to align brain responses with visual features of the movie, so knowing the exact timing will be critical.
The same applies to the end. The movie file contains a few seconds of black screen. Is the black screen included in the run data? Or did the recording continue beyond the presented movie?
